Peafowl are held in high esteem throughout Othard for their magnificent plumage and for their habit of feeding on vermin, such as vilekin. This particular breed was enhanced using geomancy, allowing it to support the weight of a rider, even when flying over great distances. Such privilege is normally reserved for nobility, though the paupers below may still marvel at the peacock's beautiful tail feathers as it soars across the sky.
